Head Soccer Coach

Presentation College, Aberdeen, SD

Responsible for managing and developing all aspects of a collegiate soccer program. Responsibilities consist of recruiting, scouting, scheduling, budget management, academic monitoring, development of team policies and procedures, fundraising activities, and knowledge and adherence to college, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.  2001-present

Special Agent, State of South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation

Investigated crimes against the State of South Dakota and its residents from crime scenes up to and through court disposition.  Investigation procedures included processing of the scene, gathering and documentation of evidence, interviewing victims and suspects, compiling and forwarding information to prosecutors, and testifying to the facts in court.  Assisted other law enforcement agencies in investigations as requested.  Served as state firearms coordinator at the Law Enforcement Academy from 1993 to 1996, co-authored the state firearms qualifications course and curriculum used to instruct law enforcement officers from various departments in the state, and evaluated instructors assigned to teach firearms.  1992-2001

South Dakota Air National Guard

Retired.  Held the rank of E-8 and served as Security Superintendent for the 114 Security Forces Squadron.  Position worked directly with full-time security forces members and squadron and base commander to ensure safety and security of Air National Guard resources.  Prior to Security Superintendent, served as First Sergeant for the 114 Security Forces Squadron working directly with the Squadron Commander.  Performed any and all duties assigned by the Commander such as personnel disciplinary issues, ensuring all personnel files and records were current, and all personnel were ready for immediate activation and deployment.  Also served as Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Combat Arms Training and Maintenance, which required the organization and scheduling of all firearms training and qualifications for South Dakota Air National Guard personnel.  As NCOIC of Combat Arms, I was responsible for the supervision of three subordinates, as well as evaluating their performance as instructors.  1986-2001
