Stacie Shaw joined the Presentation
College family in 2004 as an adjunct instructor in the Arts
and Sciences department. Stacie teaches a variety of
Psychology courses, and Intro. to Sociology. She
joined the full-time faculty in 2008, teaching both
traditional classroom courses and online courses.
This year she is also the Department Chair for Arts &
Sciences (Interim) and the Program Coordinator for
Psychology. Stacie also teaches at other area colleges, most frequently
at Buena Vista University in Estherville and Spencer, IA.

Stacie grew up in southern Minnesota where she gained
valuable skills working for her parents running their
hardware store and doing plumbing / heating/ AC. She moved
to Mobile, AL for the warm weather and to attend school.
After meeting and marrying her husband, they returned to
Minnesota with their 2 "kids" (1 dog and 1 cat). They
are building their home in Welcome this year.

Stacie and her husband, John, are actively involved in
Square Dancing and Round Dancing (cued ballroom), and
assists in both square and round dance lessons each year.
They help run Dare to Dance in Fairmont, MN, teaching round
dance lessons, and starting this fall, line dancing. In
addition to dancing, they enjoy camping in their small, yet
cozy, camper. You
