My name is Shantelle Wade, and I am beginning my second year
here at Presentation College Aberdeen campus as nursing
faculty. I obtained my Bachelor of Science with a
Major in Nursing Degree (BSN) from South Dakota State
University (SDSU) in 1999. I have 11 years experience
in long term care.
I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Nursing
Education from SDSU via the online program with an
anticipated completion date of December, 2012. I am
beginning work on my thesis focusing on faculty attitudes
toward the utilization of high-fidelity simulation in
nursing education.
I am a member of the South Dakota Nurses Association, Sigma
Theta Tau International Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi, and Golden Key
National Honor Society.
I live in Britton, SD with my husband and three young
children. My hobbies include spending time with my
family and friends, reading, working out, and scrapbooking
when I have time.
