Sponsor
a
Limited Permit class once a year which followed the Montana proposed curriculum for the Limited
Permit X-ray Technician Training. This curriculum was an
88-hour lesson plan. The curriculum was presented
through
lecture material and hands on
positioning classes.
Included
instruction in Patient Care,
Radiation Protection , Physics,
and Radiographic Exposure and Technique.
Students learned basic
projections of the Chest, Abdomen, Skull, Upper and
Lower
Extremities and Spine and Pelvis.
I
performed this class for four years in the early 1990’s.
I’ve
continued
the CEU
Workshops yearly after.

of full day workshops for Limited Permit Holders/Technicians
in the State of Montana at
3 or 4 sites/ year presenting a
curriculum meeting the continuing educational
requirements for the Limited
