Mickie Metzinger has been at the College for 13 years serving in a variety of capacities including
Registrar, Technology Director, Faculty member, Academic
Dean, Vice President for Academics, Assessment Coordinator, and most recently serving
as Education Department Chair and Program Development
Officer. She has over 17 years
experience in education spanning Kindergarten through
post-secondary.
Dr. Metzinger graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business
Education from Northern State University (1994), a Master's
Degree in Education from Northern State University (1999),
and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Capella
University (2007).
When away from the College, Dr. Metzinger enjoys spending
time with her family, playing piano, and attending sporting
events and activities of her 3 children.
